What Are Community Auctions?

If you’re tired of complicated funnels, sales calls, and webinars that don’t convert, there’s a simpler way. The 3-question poll and community auctions method is generating $10K to $25K or more in just 48 hours for coaches, consultants, and course creators – without any of the usual hassle.

Here’s exactly how it works.

Step 1: Post Your 3-Question Poll

Start by posting a simple poll in your community, Facebook group, or email list. The poll has three response options that measure how interested people are AND how close they are to buying.

Your poll should look something like this: “Want to [desired outcome]? Would you bid $1 on this?” Then give them three choices: “I’m totally in, no details needed” – “I might be in, but need more details” – “I’m out, no thanks.”

This isn’t just engagement. You’re identifying your hottest buyers before you ever make an offer. If 20% or more say “I’m totally in,” you’ve got a winner. If less than 10% are interested, pivot your offer to something else.

Step 2: DM the Hot Leads

Within 1-2 hours of your poll closing, message everyone who said “I’m totally in” or “I might be in.” Don’t wait – every day you delay cuts your sales in half.

Your DM should be simple: “Hey [Name], you said you’re interested in [outcome]. Were you just supporting me or were you serious about getting help with this?”

When they confirm they’re serious, either make them a direct offer or invite them to participate in your upcoming auction. The key is getting the truth on the table. Ask what’s really happening in their business right now. Get them to describe their pain point in detail.

Step 3: Run Your 24-Hour Auction

Post your auction with a clear offer, starting bid of $1, and a bonus ladder that unlocks as bidding increases. For example, when the bid reaches $5K a bonus unlocks, at $10K another bonus, and so on.

During the auction, you become the auctioneer. Respond to every comment. Celebrate each new bid publicly. Create friendly competition. Post updates every 1-2 hours showing the current bid and time remaining.

The final hour is critical – post every 15 minutes counting down. The energy and urgency you create will push bids higher. When it closes, announce the winner immediately and thank everyone who participated.

Step 4: Tap ALL the Bidders

Here’s where most people mess up – they take the winning bid and stop. Don’t do this. The real money is in the backend.

Within 2 hours of the auction closing, DM every single person who bid – even the $10 and $100 bidders. Offer them three tiers: Silver ($50-$500), Gold ($500-$2,000), and Diamond ($1,000-$5,000). Always include payment plans on anything over $500.

Your conversion rate on bidders can be 50-90% because these people already raised their hands multiple times. They told you they want what you’re offering. You’re just giving them options that fit their budget.

The Results

Following this exact process, people are consistently generating $5K to $15K from the direct sales after the Poll, and another $10K to $100K+ from auctions and backend offers. The best part? No sales calls required. Everything happens in simple DM conversations.

Your first attempt won’t be perfect, but you’ll learn more by doing one poll and one auction than reading about it for months. Start today. Post a poll. See what happens.

The system works. The question is: will you use it?
